1. Booking and Services
- Eligibility: Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account or book a service.
- Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing correct pickup and drop-off locations. We are not liable for delays caused by incorrect information.
- Vehicle Availability: Bookings are subject to vehicle availability. We reserve the right to provide an alternative vehicle of a similar category if the booked model is unavailable.
2. Pricing and Payment
- Fare Estimates: Fares provided at the time of booking are estimates. The final fare may vary based on actual distance traveled, waiting time, and traffic conditions.
- Additional Charges: Tolls, parking fees, state entry taxes, and airport entry fees are generally not included in the base fare and must be paid directly by the customer unless specified otherwise.
- Night Charges: Trips occurring during late-night hours (typically 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM) may incur an additional driver night allowance.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- User Cancellation: You may cancel your ride through the website or app. Cancellations made within a short window (e.g., less than 30 minutes for local or 2 hours for outstation) may incur a cancellation fee.
- No-Show: If you do not report to the pickup point within the grace period (e.g., 15–30 minutes), the booking will be treated as a "No-Show," and any advance payment may be forfeited.
- Service Failure: If a driver fails to show up, a full refund of any advance payment will be processed within 5–7 working days.
4. User Conduct and Responsibilities
- Safety Rules: Passengers must wear seatbelts. Smoking, drinking alcohol, or consuming illegal substances inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
- Luggage: Luggage must fit within the vehicle's boot space. Drivers have the right to refuse overloaded vehicles that compromise safety.
- Behavior: Any misbehavior or verbal abuse towards the driver may result in immediate termination of the ride without a refund.
5. Limitation of Liability
- Third-Party Incidents: Amar Cab Service acts as a facilitator. We are not liable for losses, delays, or injuries resulting from natural hazards, traffic, or mechanical breakdowns, though we will assist in finding alternative arrangements.
- Lost Belongings: Passengers are solely responsible for their belongings. While we will make a "best effort" to help locate lost items, we are not liable for their loss or damage.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Surat, Gujarat (or your primary place of business).
